Enjoy Goodyear’s ActiveBraking Technology which employs a three-dimensional tread block design to increase the contact between the tyre and the road during hard braking episodes in both wet and dry conditions. Additionally, the new Grip Booster compound uses an adhesive resin to increase bonding with the road surface

Resistance to cuts and punctures

Unique Durawall technology makes the sidewalls of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 resistant to cuts and punctures and a rim protector is further defence against damage from the road or debris. This tyre features a polyester cord that supports two steel belts secured using spirally wrapped polyamide for added durability and strength.

Steering precision and handing

Handling is precise and responsive due to the lightweight construction of the tyre; this promotes optimal cornering performance and tread wear. The asymmetrical tread design features a continuous centre rib which promotes control over rough surfaces and when cornering. Four wide circumferential grooves on the outer shoulder further enhance the traction and reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

Low road noise

Using SoundComfort technology, Goodyear have placed a layer of polyurethane foam around the inner lining of the tyres to absorb road noise and optimises a quiet ride.
